Demystifying Publishing:

$50, 45 minute call

Tell me what you’re trying to accomplish, and I will do my best to help you figure out the best next steps! I’ve done this for friends and friends-of-friends for years, advising on everything from:

• working with bookstores as an author
• finding an agent
• creating and pitching anthologies
• self-publishing
• creating and running events

And then some. My best skill is connecting folks with the resources they need; having spent 20ish years in publishing doing a huge variety of things, I have a lot of useful knowledge and experience and am happy to share it.

Please note: I am happy to point you in a direction I think would be helpful to you, but this will not include personal introductions to agents, authors, bookstores, publishers, or other publishing professionals.

I have built and maintained databases, migrated documentation between platforms, reviewed and overhauled workflows for streamlining, cost-savings, and efficiencies, and have an eye for information architecture. Platforms I’ve worked with include but are not limited to: AirTable, Google Suite, Notion, SalesForce, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Office
